A few days after building the chicken coop for The Perpetual Self-Reliance Project, we went in search of tilapia (fish) for the pond.

We all caught a tuc tuc (the kids rode in the 'trunk')
We took it to Erlinda's house, she's the lady with the tilapia, and she has turtles... the kids LOVED that!
Then we took the fish up in a truck to the 'farm'.
After putting the fish in the tilapia pond, Greg and Presidente built a vermicomposting worm box. Watch below:

Once we finished working, we went to say goodbye to hermana (she was at 'mom and dad's house')
They were making tortillas:
Atlas was infatuated with the cat:
Then it was time to go. We have to walk a mile to the highway below, where we can catch a pickup to take us home:
What a view! How grateful I am to live here.
