After stopping in Portland to pick up and install our roof rack, we headed west toward the Oregon coast.
Since we'd had to unload a bunch of stuff to get the roof rack on, the back of the truck was 'uninhabitable'. The Evergreen Aviation Museum had a nice, large, empty and inviting parking lot - and a playground which the kids desparately wanted to climb on.
The museum itself was closed, but we spent our time unloading, de-cluttering and reloading the vehicle before we spent the night in their vacant lot.
